| Twelve great tips for raising a reader
Get a library of books at home and make them accessible to your kid.

Read in new and other places. Form a fort beneath your table, move out a flashlight and study a popular story. Create a book within the park and study. Read a guide at bathtime.
Have your children's grandma (or are you) read popular story for them on the phone. A great way for young kids to bond with relatives and buddies who live further away.
Look into the Bugsby reading system or the Tag reading system. These include an excellent option for children to use, particularly you are in center of something along with have the time by sitting and looked at at their side. My son loves his Bugsby!
Books on tape are fantastic for long car rides. Check out the local bookstores or libraries.
